Pride Health is hiring a Histotechnologist V/Lead to support our client’s medical facility based in Phoenix, AZ 85040. This is a 4+month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Histotechnologist V/Lead

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Core Hours: 3rd shift. Mon – Fri. 12am – 8:30am

Pay range: $42-$46 per hour

Duration: 4 months+

*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and review advanced medical laboratory tests for diagnostic and research purposes.
• Ensure the accuracy of laboratory findings and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Supervise and participate in clinical studies and research projects.
• Train staff on the operation, calibration, and maintenance of lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, flame photometers, and analyzers.
• Develop, evaluate, and standardize procedures and testing techniques.
• Establish and oversee quality assurance programs to maintain high standards in testing accuracy.
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and performance feedback to laboratory assistants, technicians, and technologists.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in a medical or clinical laboratory setting.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable local regulations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in interpreting and documenting complex data results.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Expertise in medical laboratory instrumentation and analysis techniques.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to laboratory challenges.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment methodologies for human disease and injuries.
