As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or other protocols when required.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in a clear and timely manner according to Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
