Company Overview: Grid Graphics is a manufacturer located in Bolingbroke, GA, between Macon and Forsyth, directly off I-75. Grid Graphics manufactures substation signage and transformer labels for electric utilities across the United States through screen-printing presses and large-format digital printing.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include operating multiple workstations. Workstations include printing machinery that transfers industrial inks, laminate rollers that merge materials, and a hydraulic clamshell press to create end products. It is important to be accurate and work efficiently in a fast-paced, safe environment.

Education:

Employees must have a high school diploma or advanced technical school training.

Experience:

Strong understanding of mechanical machinery and familiarity with manufacturing environment.

Preferred: 2 years of experience operating a semi-automatic screen press or similar machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and operation of screen printing machines, ensuring proper alignment and ink flow.
• Prepare screens and materials for printing, including color mixing and prepress tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards in print quality and color accuracy.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to implement layouts and typography effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, job instructions and other work-related material.
• Ability to enter basic data into a computer system.
• Use of fine motor skills to make specific machine adjustments.
• Work safely and follow guidelines to prevent on-the-job injuries.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday
