Real Estate Administrator

Havertys is seeking a Real Estate Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of our expansive real estate portfolio, which includes over 150 retail, office, and distribution properties totaling more than 7.0 million square feet across 17 states. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations across our locations and supporting the broader Real Estate Group, including Asset Management and Construction & Design teams.

This is your Opportunity to:

  • Process and prepare vendor invoices and pay applications for management review and accounting.
  • Support the administration of leased or subleased surplus real estate, including rent and expense collection.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital property files and records.
  • Act as a secondary liaison between Havertys Operations and Corporate Office staff, vendors, contractors, landlords, and property managers for all property and facility management matters.
  • Respond to employee requests and coordinate with building management and third-party vendors for services at the Corporate Office, including janitorial and breakroom support.
  • Ensure Corporate Office breakrooms are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Provide administrative support to the Construction and Design team, including project budgeting and reporting.
  • Assist with special corporate or departmental projects such as capital and departmental budgeting.
  • Support Facilities Management in onboarding new vendors and coordinating store-level vendor work.
  • Assist in managing the Companys asset and facility management platforms (CoStar Real Estate Manager and Verisae).
  • Provide general administrative support to the Real Estate Department, including office supply management and mail distribution.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current experience with high volume invoice recaps and invoice tracking and payment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in facilities or commercial property management preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure documents.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in non-standardized situations.
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.

Work Environment:

  • Work from the Havertys Home Office located at 780 Johnson Ferry Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30342.

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work with regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Must be willing and able to stock breakrooms with supplies, etc.
