Kids Of Valor Academy in Houston, TX is looking for one preschool director to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 12775 Medfield Dr, Ste B. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages preschool teachers and staff.
• Ensures that the preschool follows state licensing and safety regulations.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the preschool.
• Oversees curriculum and lesson planning for the preschool.
• Manages the budget and financial operations of the preschool.
• Communicates regularly with parents and families of preschool children.
• Sets and maintains standards for student behavior and learning.
• Coordinates and plans events and activities for the preschool community.
• Collaborates with other education professionals and organizations

Qualifications

• Leadership Skills : Ability to manage staff and oversee preschool operations effectively.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and staff. 
• Organizational Skills: Competence in managing administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with regulations. 
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to handle conflicts and issues that may arise in the preschool environment.
• Knowledge of Child Development: A solid understanding of early childhood education theories and practices is essential. 
• First Aid and Safety Training : Many states require directors to have certifications in CPR and first aid
• High School Diploma
• At least 3 years experience working in childcare as an Assistant Director or Director
