Recruiting Associate at Round Hill Search

Highly reputable boutique law firm in San?Francisco is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic team. The firm seeks a candidate with 6+ years of solid family?law litigation experience from a reputable firm in California. Individuals will be required to be in the San?Francisco area; however, they may work remotely. Candidates must have handled medium?high asset cases and have solid personal values that blend with the firm culture, which values high integrity, people and families first, high?quality and zealous representation, and collaboration and kindness.

Base Pay Range

$170,000.00/yr $300,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to clients on various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, and domestic violence.
• Oversee and manage a caseload of family law cases, from initial consultation through resolution.
• Engage in negotiation processes to reach settlements and agreements that align with clients best interests.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings, presenting arguments and advocating for favorable outcomes.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, petitions, agreements, and court filings.
• Interact with clients to understand their unique situations, explain legal options, and provide emotional support throughout the legal process.
• Facilitate mediation sessions to assist clients in reaching amicable resolutions in family law disputes.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and precedents to support legal arguments and strategies.
• Advocate for the best interests of children involved in family law cases, prioritizing their well?being.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to comprehensively address complex family law matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
• Proven experience as a family law attorney focusing on divorce, child custody, and related matters.
• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlements and agreements.
• Experience with prenup agreements is a definite plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective representation and client communication.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients facing emotionally charged family situations.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborative mindset with effective teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to family law cases unique challenges and dynamics.

Additional Information

• The firm's billable hours range from 1400 to 1500.
