We're hiring for part-time and full-time at our Big Sky location. 

Position Overview

The Dispensary Associate works within the Sales department team to ensure excellent customer service, provide effective patient consultations, and ensure the distribution of only quality products to consumers. The Dispensary Associate assesses the individual needs of patients and consumes, provides superior product knowledge, and conducts sales transactions efficiently and accurately.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide excellent service for all consumers
• Assess individual needs by asking questions regarding their intended experience, carefully listening to patient responses, and further clarifying as needed to determine what type of alternative care might support their conditions
• Always communicate with sensitivity and respect for consumers, staff and visitors
• Ensure adherence to patient confidentiality guidelines as provided in employee training
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation guidelines
• Prevent the diversion of marijuana to anyone other than authorized patients and consumers over the age of 21
• Communicate regularly with the Agent in Charge to satisfy department needs and consumer feedback
• Maintain the overall appearance, organization and cleanliness of the department and service counter areas
• Attend daily pre-opening meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Agent in Charge
• One year or more prior experience in retail sales or similar environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer operating skills
• Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
• Prior experience working within the medical marijuana industry
• Knowledge of medical marijuana strains and applications
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Ensure departmental and dispensary compliance to internal, local and state policies
• Ensure the accuracy of assigned cash register till

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills
• Passion to serve people with debilitating conditions

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Prior experience working within the medical marijuana industry
• Knowledge of medical marijuana strains and applications
• Prior experience working with medical patients
