Your Schedule & Compensation

• Consistent Schedule: Your schedule is a consistent Mon - Fri (3 PM - 11 PM)

Core Responsibilities (Making an Impact)

As a DSP your role is centered on providing excellent direct care and support, focusing on the individual's choice, health, and dignity:

• Exceptional Care: Maintain the highest standard of personal care, including bathing, toileting, oral care, and grooming.
• Health Oversight: Administer all medications (oral, rectal, inhaled) and monitor chronic health issues (dysphagia, seizures, diabetes). Assist with all medical appointments as needed.
• Behavioral Support: Confidently provide support for complex manipulative behaviors, including Self-Injurious Behavior (SIB) and aggression, following established protocols.
• Home Support: Manage meal preparation according to dietary plans, ensure the home remains clean, safe, and in good repair (daily cleaning, laundry, safety checks).
• Documentation: Ensure all charting, records, and services are accurately documented and fully comply with the PCISP and Gray's policies.

DSP Qualifications

• Minimun of 1 year experience in the field.
• Current CPR Certification / First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain quickly).
• Strong ability to apply sound, mature decisions and follow detailed plans.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Acceptable criminal (State and County) histories.
