Join to apply for the Controller role at Groove Technology Solutions . We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Controller to join our Finance and Accounting team. You’ll oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, reporting, and internal controls for Groove Technology Solutions, EpicVue, and Della. You’ll guide financial decisions, ensure compliance, and provide leadership that supports growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions across multiple business units Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Facilitate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Lead reporting efforts to expand knowledge of the business, including Profit and Loss reporting across customer segments and product categories Prepare and maintain internal and external financial reports for management, executives, and auditors Use financial data to analyze results and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial efficiency Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Manage annual financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Lead, train, and retain a skilled accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and professional growth Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making What You Bring Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership or management responsibilities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls Experience managing audits and preparing financial statements Demonstrated leadership and team development skills Nice-to-Have Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification Experience with Salesforce and Certinia (FinancialForce) Background in the hospitality or construction industries Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-division financial operations Why You’ll Love It Here Competitive compensation Brand-new office in Midvale, stocked kitchen, onsite gym & Peloton A culture that values innovation, growth, and having fun while doing it Wellness perks including an onsite masseuse and mental health support Who We Are We’re revolutionizing hospitality tech—offering everything from DIRECTV and Wi-Fi to video surveillance and energy management.
