PARAPROFESSIONAL – Middlesex County, NJ

Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking a qualified bilingual paraprofessional in Middlesex County, NJ for on-going coverage for the 2025-2026 school year. The paraprofessional work individually with one student to assist in academics, school navigation, and any other related tasks. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Hours/Schedule

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:40 am to 3:25pm

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for students
• Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class as needed
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and/or school administration

Requirements

• Bilingual in English/Spanish required
• Previous experience with childcare preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand child’s needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or 60 credits required
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma WITH ETS ParaPro passing grade; or
• An Associate’s Degree or higher; or
• 60 completed credits from an institution of higher learning
