The Summer Accounting Intern plays a vital role in supporting the General Ledger Accounting team at RWE Clean Energy. The team's focus is to manage the general ledger, tracks records income and expenses, aids audits, ensure accounting compliance, and assist with budgeting and financial analysis to maintain accurate financial management at RWE Clean Energy. The intern will assist the team in collaborating on account reconciliations, contributing to ad hoc projects and helping the team reach its goals. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while supporting RWE Clean Energy's financial operations.

This is a full-time 12-week summer internship starting the first week of June in our Chicago, IL office. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. RWE Clean Energy is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
Pay range: The hourly base pay range for this position in Illinois is $25.00 $35.00 an hour for undergraduate candidates and $30.00 $40.00 an hour for graduate candidates. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
