Web Designer + Developer (WordPress, AI-Native)

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Web Designer + Developer hybrid to own the front-end experience of our WordPress-based web properties. You’ll work on:

• A high-converting main website

• Dozens of micro landing pages (VSL funnels)

• SEO-optimized content pages

• CRM-integrated lead capture and onboarding flows

• AI-assisted workflows to accelerate execution

You must be proficient in modern WordPress development, user-centered design, and most importantly, AI-native —fluent in tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Make, Zapier, Claude, Runway, Framer AI, and others.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a premium, fast, responsive WordPress site from scratch

• Build and iterate on conversion-optimized landing pages (CBD, vape, coaching, DTC brands, etc.)

• Collaborate with media buyers to A/B test funnels rapidly

• Integrate with CRMs (GoHighLevel, Typeform, Hubspot, etc.)

• Automate workflows using AI tools (content, images, SEO, user flows)

• Deploy and manage VSL funnels (video embeds, forms, analytics)

• Implement analytics, tag managers, retargeting pixels, heatmaps

• Optimize for speed, SEO, and technical performance

• Collaborate closely with the founders and growth leads

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• 3+ years building custom WordPress sites (beyond templates like Elementor or Divi)

• Mastery of CSS/HTML/JS/PHP, Gutenberg, ACF, Oxygen, Bricks, etc.

• AI fluency: GPT, Zapier, Make, Framer, Canva AI, and more

• UX/UI design experience and a conversion mindset

• Experience building funnel-style pages (Calendly embeds, testimonials, urgency blocks)

• Tag manager, tracking pixel, and analytics setup experience

• Familiarity with CRM lead flows and form logic

Soft Skills:

• Strong communicator with startup / zero-to-one mentality

• Fast executor with a bias for action

• Detail-oriented with strong design sensibilities

• Ownership mindset — takes initiative without waiting

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus)

• Experience in high-risk industries: CBD, supplements, ecommerce, coaching

• Familiarity with Framer, Webflow, or React frameworks

• Stripe, PayPal, or ISO/MSP integration experience

• SEO architecture and schema knowledge

• Graphic design for ads, testimonials, or video assets
