Job Summary : This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud (AWS) and application security. The candidate for this role will assist with migrating automated processes to serverless architecture, enhancing security alerting mechanisms, and improving our overall cloud security posture. A successful individual will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity for exploring challenges and developing innovative solutions. This internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to enhance their skills in application and cloud security while contributing to meaningful security initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Participate and collaborate cross-functionally with various technical groups within Data, Technology, and Engineering (DTE). Migrate automated processes to AWS serverless architecture. Contribute to the enhancement of our security alerting mechanisms. Help identify and prioritize vulnerability remediation for containerized and serverless applications. Assist in the improvement of our cloud security posture metric reporting and analytics. Maintain clear and detailed documentation of processes and changes Qualifications : Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program Majors in the following backgrounds: Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study. Proficiency in Python Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Legal authorizationto work in the United States, now and in the future. Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before July 2025 Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from July - December 2025.
