Job Title: VDC Detailer / Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a VDC Detailer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for producing detailed fabrication and rack drawings, creating CAD as-builts, and supporting project teams with 3D modeling in Revit. You’ll play a key role in bringing projects from design to reality, supporting both prefabrication and field operations.
What You’ll Do
• Produce fabrication spool drawings and detailed rack drawings
• Create CAD as-builts from project field teams
• Generate cut lists for steel products and files for CNC machines (BobCAD)
• Design and detail underground conduit packages and spacers
• Model electrical systems using BIM/Revit software
• Support project builds with accurate detailing and coordination
• Participate in coordination meetings with PreFab and project teams
• Interpret job specifications and construction drawings
What We’re Looking For
• Experience with AutoCAD (required)
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM software (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new processes and technology
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite
