Robert Half's enterprise client is looking for a skilled and innovative User Experience Designer to join their team in Seattle, Washington or Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will be at the forefront of creating user-centered designs that simplify complex workflows and deliver seamless experiences across mobile and desktop platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will transform ideas into impactful designs that prioritize customer needs while aligning with technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct usability studies to gather customer insights
• Advocate for user needs in every design decision
• Design clear, user-centered experiences for both customer-facing and internal tools
• Ensure consistency across our product ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, impactful solutions
• Balance design vision with technical feasibility

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX or interaction design experience
• Proven ability to lead complex design projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across platforms
• Experience working with stakeholders to drive strategic design initiatives

Your Day-to-Day: You’ll work closely with research and product teams to understand users, test ideas, and measure success. You’ll sketch concepts, build prototypes, and refine final designs. Expect a fast-paced environment where you’ll improve both customer experiences and internal systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience conducting user research and creating journey maps
• Background in designing retail or technical products
• Familiarity with usability principles and agile development
• Ability to define and maintain design standards
