Primary Purpose

Repairs, reconditions and upholsters a variety of Hospital furniture ensuring activities meet the needs of customers.

Minimum Specifications

Education/Experience:

• Three years upholstery experience
• Prefer two years of training in upholstery techniques.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

• May have an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• N/A

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must be able to demonstrate skill in all phases of upholstery work. 
• Must be able to match fabrics making independent judgments on needed improvements.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. 
• Must be able to perform mathematical computations.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
