• Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center\n
• Employment Type: Travel Contract\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/28/2026)\n
• Hours per Week: 36-40 hours\n
• Shifts per Week: 5\n
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, days; includes weekends, on-call, callbacks, and holidays as needed\n
• On-Call Requirement: Must be able to report within 30 minutes to on-call shifts\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2260\n

\n\nRadiology X-Ray Technologist Qualifications\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology\n
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification\n
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray Technologist experience\n
• Recent experience (within the past 8 months) operating c-arm/o-arm equipment\n
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required)\n
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred\n
• Ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods\n
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\n
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and a collaborative team player\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities for X-Ray Technologist\n

\n
• Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to radiology procedures\n
• Operate x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of bones, tissues, and organs\n
• Clearly explain radiology procedures to patients and address their questions\n
• Position and assist patients, including those with limited mobility, for optimal imaging\n
• Ensure safe handling of radiologic equipment and minimize patient exposure\n
• Monitor patient status and deliver age-appropriate clinical care\n
• Produce accurate diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation\n
• Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment promptly\n
• Utilize electronic health records and follow dual patient identifier protocols\n
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure timely image transfer to PACS\n
