Job Details

• Physical therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with medical problems or health-related conditions limiting mobility and function.
• PTs develop treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• PTs also develop fitness and wellness programs to prevent loss of mobility.
• Care settings include hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health, schools, sports facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.
• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provides educational information on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in treatment.

Job Requirements

• Must have South Carolina PT license (must be attached to resume).
• Must have 2 years recent PT experience, hospital experience preferred.
• Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission packet).

Schedule Information

• Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm.
• Friday 8am-12:30pm.
• Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations (every 5 weeks).
