Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in State College, Pennsylvania.

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

• Ability to work 8-hour shifts rotating between:
  • 0630–1500
  • 0900–1730
  • 1100–1930
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend coverage and call are voluntary
• Willingness to rotate shifts as staffing requires

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program (required)
• BSN preferred , but not mandatory

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) – current
• ACLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) – current
• xperience
• Minimum 2 years Operating Room experience required
  • Circulating and/or scrub experience
• Clinical Knowledge & Skills
• Strong understanding of perioperative nursing and AORN standards
• Ability to:
  • Maintain sterile field
  • Prepare and manage equipment and supplies
  • Recognize and respond to physiological changes during surgery
  • Safely manage specimens, cultures, and foreign bodies
• Comfortable caring for pediatric through geriatric patients

• Accepts responsibility for:
  • Maintaining competency
  • Staying current with new technology, trends, and ethics
• Willingness to follow Mount Nittany policies and procedures
