Job Description & RequirementsCore Job Requirements to Confirm with Candidate\n\nSchedule & Work Expectations\n\nAbility to work 8-hour shifts rotating between:0630–1500\n\n0900–1730\n\n1100–1930\n\n40 hours per week\n\nWeekend coverage and call are voluntary\n\nWillingness to rotate shifts as staffing requires\n\nEducation\n\nGraduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program (required)\n\nBSN preferred, but not mandatory\n\nLicensure & Certifications\n\nActive RN license in Pennsylvania\n\nBLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) – current\n\nACLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) – current\n\nxperience\n\nMinimum 2 years Operating Room experience requiredCirculating and/or scrub experience\n\nClinical Knowledge & Skills\n\nStrong understanding of perioperative nursing and AORN standards\n\nAbility to:Maintain sterile field\n\nPrepare and manage equipment and supplies\n\nRecognize and respond to physiological changes during surgery\n\nSafely manage specimens, cultures, and foreign bodies\n\nComfortable caring for pediatric through geriatric patients\n\nAccountability & Professional Development\n\nAccepts responsibility for:Maintaining competency\n\nStaying current with new technology, trends, and ethics\n\nWillingness to follow Mount Nittany policies and procedures
