• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (HVTI-Stepdown unit)\n
• Start Date: January 30, 2026\n
• End Date: May 1, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am – 7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm – 7:30am; rotation may be required)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown RN experience (travel or permanent)\n
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN License\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)\n
• NIHSS certification required\n
• Supervisory reference from Cardiac Stepdown (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)\n
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during assignment\n

\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; respond promptly to changes\n
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans\n
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation\n
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives\n
