Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring an active IA or compact license and BLS/ACLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) of a hospital
• Cares for post-surgical, critically ill adult patients
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend scheduled
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill surgical patients in a team environment
• Certification verification must be current and available upon consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination card required for consideration
• References and licensure verification will be part of candidate review
• Local rates apply only in select states; candidates from other states considered travel

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active IA or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent SICU or ICU RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, issued by the American Heart Association
• Current TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
