At our location in New York, we are looking for a full lawyer, diploma lawyer, or diploma business lawyer (m/f/d) to strengthen our legal department from September 2025 for 12 months.
The AHK USA - New York is one of five German-American Chambers of Commerce abroad in the USA. For over 75 years, the AHK USA - New York has promoted economic relations between Germany and the USA. Our legal department offers companies diverse support in the handling of transactions between Germany and the USA.
We offer a diverse and international activity in a legally and economically exciting area. You will gain insights into German and US business law and work on answering general legal questions from the following areas: General Civil Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Tax, Customs, Labor, and Residence Law, as well as Product Liability Law. Furthermore, you will support the collection service of the AHK USA - New York.
Due to the content topics, fluent German and English skills are required, which you ideally acquired through an overseas stay and/or an LL.M. in an English-speaking country.
