The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm, currently seeking a Technical Writer II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in St. Paul, MN 55117 . Details of the position are as follows:

Shift Information:

• Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote, W2 Position)
• Pay range starts at $30/hr!
• 6-Month contract to start, extension or conversion beyond that is based on performance and budget at that time.

Job Description:

• Position is primarily responsible for reviewing, copyediting, and updating software design documentation and reports, managing change control and quality system requirements related to documentation.
• Position will also be responsible for coordinating technical reviews, tracking and reporting project documentation using JIRA, maintaining knowledge bases and libraries, and facilitating communication among cross-functional teams.
• Position will be in charge of creating and managing templates, style guides, workflows, and supporting software requirements documentation for formal submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is Required!
• 2+ years of technical writing/editing experience is Required!
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is Preferred!
• Experience with document management tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA is Preferred!
• Superior written and verbal communication skills are Required!
• Ability to manage multiple projects and quickly learn complex topics is Preferred!
