This role focuses on opening doors with founders, operators, and referral partners in the outdoor industry. You will build trust-based relationships and drive high-value conversations from scratch, delivering real client outcomes within Exit Worthy’s structured M&A process. What You’ll Do Open new doors and maintain relationships with business owners and their trusted advisors Build relationships with referral partners such as CPAs, attorneys, consultants, and industry groups Create visibility through events, outreach, and strategic introductions Initiate and nurture meaningful, high-value conversations with business owners directly Manage your own follow-up rhythm with discipline and respect Bring qualified opportunities into our system for early paid engagements What We Do We run a structured M&A process where every client relationship begins with a paid assessment or short-term project that delivers results in 30 days or less. Some projects lead to full sell-side exits, strategic exit planning, or end after the initial assessment. Every client receives value from day one. The Role You’ll thrive in a founder-led environment that values clarity and real results. This is a performance-based role with compensation tied to value delivered through client conversations that lead to real solutions inside our infrastructure. What You’ll Need to Succeed Here Willingness to reach out to new contacts to connect (not purely to pitch) Understand that building trust can take time and multiple conversations Self-led, driven, and proactive in activity Ability to hold conversations with founders, professionals, and skeptics Direct, kind, and client-focused approach Industry Familiarity Experience in or around the outdoor industry is a major plus. Familiarity with manufacturers, suppliers, retail owners, regional reps, or niche verticals helps, but not required to have a full book of business. Compensation Model This is not a salaried position. There is no base pay. Compensation is based on the value you create, including: Paid assessments and short-cycle strategy projects for early wins Advisory retainers and executed deals for long-term upside No cap on earnings Rewards based on results, not effort If you can bring value, you’ll be rewarded accordingly.
