What you'll do

Docusign is looking for a Sr. Director, Partnerships Strategy & Operations to play a pivotal role in scaling our partnerships ecosystem, driving incremental revenue, and shaping the future of our go-to-market strategy. You'll report directly to the VP of Sales and Partners' Strategy and Operations and work closely with the GVP of Docusign's Partners. In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for identifying, designing, and leading transformational initiatives that enable incremental global partnership growth.

As a leader, you'll guide a team of GTM strategy and operations professionals who empower our partnerships business through analytical insights and robust cross-functional collaborations. Your team will work closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other key areas.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Group Vice President, GTM Strategy & Operations.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and launch of our global partnership strategy, collaborating with regional partnership and sales leaders

  • Spearhead global strategic initiatives, fostering alignment across the partnership and sales organizations

  • Design and implement a robust operational cadence to review and guide the global partnerships business, including forecasting, business reviews and planning rhythm

  • Partner with our IT team to implement channel strategy, enhance data and reporting capabilities, streamline workflows, and establish overall operational governance for the program

  • Leverage data to analyze partnership performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive revenue

  • Become the go-to expert for all partner types you support, including Resell & Distribution, Strategic Alliances, GSIs, SIs & Services, CSPs, and ISVs

  • Collaborate across the broader go-to-market team and leadership to drive business forward

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 15+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, GTM strategy or corporate analytical roles
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner programs or channel marketing roles
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred

  • MBA
  • A thorough understanding end-to-end go-to-market strategies
  • Well-developed ability to bring structured thinking into highly ambiguous and open-ended problem situations, then strive to consensus
  • Experience in data analysis. Problem solver and self-motivated
  • A strong understanding of SaaS business models and go-to-market principles
  • Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity
Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $202,800.00 - $327,625.00 base salary

Illinois: $193,100.00 - $272,750.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
