Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide per diem support in a K-12 school setting located in the Pittsford, NY area. Serving students with diverse learning needs, this role offers flexible scheduling from Monday through Friday, with hours based on daily assignment needs. As a per diem position, there are no guaranteed hours each week, providing flexibility for educators seeking supplementary work in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs across K-12 grade levels
• Adapt and implement lesson plans to meet the unique learning goals of assigned students
• Collaborate with school staff and related service providers to ensure consistent student progress monitoring and communication
• Maintain accurate documentation related to student performance, behavior, and accommodations
• Provide a supportive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and independence

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State teaching license in Special Education required (attach license PDF)
• Experience working with students in K-12 special education settings strongly preferred
• Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school personnel and families
• Flexibility and reliability to fulfill per diem substitute teaching assignments on short notice

• End Date: June 26, 2026
• Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, hours vary by assignment
