Position Summary RELI Group is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to support the Information Security and Privacy Services (ISPS) contract. The SOC Analyst will provide real-time monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across CMS systems, ensuring continuous cybersecurity vigilance in alignment with CMS ARS 5.0, FISMA, and Zero Trust Architecture principles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of log analysis, security events, and common threat vectors, and will collaborate closely with CDM, PAM, and threat intelligence team members to respond to security alerts and enhance defensive measures. Responsibilities Monitor security events, alerts, and indicators of compromise using SIEM tools and dashboards Conduct initial triage, correlation, and escalation of security incidents and anomalies Support incident response and resolution in coordination with cybersecurity leads and CMS stakeholders Perform log and network traffic analysis to identify unusual behavior or threat activity Document incident findings and create after-action reports aligned with CMS and FISMA reporting requirements Collaborate with CDM, PAM, and threat intelligence teams to enhance alerting and detection rules Ensure alignment with CMS ARS 5.0, NIST 800-53 controls, and SOC operating procedures Maintain awareness of current threats and vulnerabilities impacting federal healthcare infrastructure Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity operations, or threat monitoring environment Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and security monitoring tools Understanding of incident response procedures, log analysis, and attack indicators Familiarity with NIST 800-53, RMF, and ARS 5.0 compliance frameworks Strong written documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting CMS, HHS, or federal cybersecurity programs Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or GCIA Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and CDM integration Experience with incident ticketing systems and security playbooks Exposure to network, host, and application-level monitoring solutions EEO Employer RELI Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
