As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at dynamic locations within the manufacturing, industrial, and commercial real estate sectors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include manufacturing, industrial, and commercial real estate environments.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills by following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
