As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control systems, managing visitor logs, and providing a welcoming presence at the front desk. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible and approachable demeanor, while also responding promptly to inquiries and assisting with alarm panel operations as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and are comfortable using computers or tablets. Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
