As a Security Professional - Logistics Site - Part Time in Gilbert, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability that define Allied Universal. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle as required. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
