The Role

The Screen Print Operator is responsible for producing a quality garment in a timely fashion by following a production spec sheet and/or art sheet. This Operator will use automatic or manual Press machines, each having individual procedures that must be followed. Additionally, this position requires the individual to follow direction to ensure product meets customer expectations, maintain acceptable quality and productivity, while keeping a clean and safe work area, be reliable, work well with others and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

• Produce accurate quality decorated garments using an Automatic or Manual Screen Print Machine
• Follow the direction on production specification sheet and/or art sheet provided for each customer order
• Maintains a clean organized work area
• Functions well as part of a team with the entire production department
• Assists in the development and/or institutes new procedures to improve accuracy and quality of products
• Be detail-oriented in nature and apply this to all produced product
• The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stress
• Sound organizational, records management, time management skills, and attention to detail

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• A high school diploma or GED
• A minimum of two years of experience with Screen Print or related experience
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of machines used throughout the production process

Compensation

Hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
