Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare professional with a background as an LPN, LVN, or RN is sought to provide dedicated nursing support in an elementary school setting located in the Seattle, WA area. This position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), focusing on one-on-one nursing support for a student requiring specialized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care and health support to a student in a school setting.
• Monitor the student's health status and administer medications or treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure the students health needs are met throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• municate effectively with healthcare providers, parents, and school personnel regarding the student's care plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a student in a one-on-one capacity.
• Strong munication and organizational skills.
• Valid nursing license for the state of Washington.

Location:

• Elementary school in the Seattle, WA area, with proximity to Gig Harbor (across the bridge from Taa).
