The Opportunity!

Were actively expanding our team and seeking Retail Wine Sales Associates with excellent people skills, passion for wine, beer and spirits and love being part of an exciting, fun team. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and great recommendations to our customers.
• Provide knowledgeable, enthusiastic and positive customer engagement when interacting with customers.
• Develop and maintain the highest level of product knowledge in order to make informed sales recommendations (We support ongoing wine & spirits education!)
• Stay up to date on all company and location offerings, campaigns, promotions in order to provide the best service to our customers.
• Act as a liaison to an assigned category within the store; develop expertise in the category and keep it well merchandised
• Write product reviews for K&Ls website, newsletter, and blog
• Participate in our staff education sessions and events.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with all K&L team members in your local store and across other departments and locations.
• Uphold K&L service standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in a retail or other customer?facing environment
• Passion and knowledge of wine & spirits highly preferred
• WSET certification a plus
• Positive attitude We work collaboratively to support each other; no task is too small or too large
• Excellent communicator with a passion for helping and serving people
• Proficient in Office 365, comfortable using point?of?sale and handheld technology
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours each day
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and kneel frequently
• Ability to load, unload, and operate a hand truck safely
