Position Information :
Our client, a respected regional law practice with a growing office in Brea, CA invites Associate Attorney candidates with 2+ years of public law experience to apply for a position representing public agencies in the firm's high respected Public Law Department .
Prior expertise in handling Land Use and CEQA matters and the ability to take the lead on complex land use projects is highly preferred. Real Estate and other transactional expertise also will be considered favorably.
A successful candidate is expected to be able to advise City Councils, Planning Commissions, or other governing boards at public meetings. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills and a commitment to professional excellence.
Annualized Billable Hours Projection :
The Firm offers a reasonable and realistic billable hours requirement | 1850 hrs .
Education Requirement :
A Juris Doctorate degree is required. Active and in good standing with the CA State Bar.
Compensation | Salary | Benefits :
The salary range for this CA-based role is $145,100 to $195,000 (DOE/DOQ) and represents the Firm’s best estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, familiarity with relevant subject matters, public law skill set, and business origination.
In addition to salaried compensation, the Firm provides annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses, and a robust offering of health insurance and other benefits.
