Job Title: Pro Staff & Tournament Manager

FLSA: Exempt

Employee Type: Full Time

Reports To: Shooting Business Unit General Manager

Location: Remote with 50-75% travel time required

Job Overview:

The Pro Staff & Tournament Manager will oversee the recruitment, management, and activation of professional and grassroots shooters who represent our brands in competition archery. This role will serve as the primary liaison between sponsored athletes, tournament organizations, and the marketing team to ensure the brand has strong visibility, credibility, and influence in the competitive archery community.

This individual will manage day-to-day pro staff relationships, coordinate sponsorship programs, and execute the company’s presence at national and regional tournaments. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge and experience in the archery industry, both personally and professionally, and thrive on building strong relationships through collaboration and event participation within the industry. The ideal candidate will also enjoy frequent and extended national travel to represent FeraDyne and its brands at many seasonal events.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Pro-Staff Management

· Recruit, onboard, and manage professional archers, influencers, and grassroots shooters

· Serve as the point of contact for all staff communications, contracts, and compliance

· Develop incentive and reward programs to motivate and retain staff members

· Ensure all staff members represent the brand professionally and consistently

Tournament & Event Management

· Coordinate company presence at national, regional, and local archery tournaments

· Manage booth displays, sponsorship activations, and branding at events

· Oversee logistics such as event registration, promotional materials, and athlete support

· Track results and generate reports highlighting brand exposure and staff performance

Brand & Marketing Support

· Work with marketing team to amplify pro staff and tournament content on social media

· Collect and share product feedback from pro staff and shooters with product development

· Develop highlight reels, tournament recaps, and shooter spotlights for brand promotion

· Collaborate on press releases and media opportunities related to events and staff

Administration

· Manage budget for pro staff and tournament expenses

· Track and report KPIs related to staff performance, brand exposure, and ROI

· Maintain contracts, travel itineraries, and expense reports

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Passion for archery and competition sports

· Professional and approachable demeanor

· Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

· Ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure

· Strong organizational and event management skills

· Familiarity with archery products and their distinct customers and markets

Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience in archery, shooting sports, or outdoor industry

· Experience managing teams, ambassadors, or athletes

· Knowledge of competitive archery circuits (ASA, NFAA, IBO, World Archery, etc.)

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

· Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communication, or similar field, or equivalent 4 years’ professional experience in similar field is required

· Ability to travel year-round, including extensively during tournament season (January - August)

· Possess current U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to independently traverse many remote working locations such as indoor and outdoor events, airports, and various office or meeting locations

· Must be able to independently drive a vehicle

· Must be able to independently lift, push, carry objects up to 50 pounds
