Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An early childhood school in Windsor, VT is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support high school students with individualized needs. This contract position begins ASAP and will be renewed based on performance and program needs.
Responsibilities include working with approximately five high school students, each supported by a 1:1 paraprofessional. The role is split between in-school teaching during the first half of the day and community-based support during the second half, assisting students at their various job placements throughout the community. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs in both educational and community settings.
