Job Description

The Children’s Hospital of Illinois Pediatric Otolaryngology is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join our team. 

Job Specifics: 

• Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to fulfill the Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric ENT opportunity at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois located in Peoria, Illinois
• Close collaboration with our Pediatric Otolaryngologists and PA’s within the hospital, clinic and OR settings.
• Travel to CHOI outreach clinics and participation in multidisciplinary clinics will be required
• The ideal candidate will have experience in ENT or a willingness to learn the subspecialty.
• No evening call
• No weekends

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-$68.10.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• The candidate must maintain state license as an APN in the state of Illinois and professional certifications (APLS, ENPC, or PALS).
• Certification as an acute care specialty nurse practitioner through a nationally recognized certifying body is required. 
• For APN’s, surgical assist certification will be required after completion of training program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience or interest in Pediatric ENT surgery.
• First Assist Surgical experience or certification.
