Part-Time Bookkeeper – Vegan Treats, Inc. (Bethlehem, PA)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of Vegan Treats, Inc. This role includes weekly payroll data entry, basic financial reporting, and general administrative financial tasks. You’ll work closely with our CFO and external finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized bookkeeping.

For the right candidate, this role could also expand to include cost tracking and order auditing responsibilities—helping us keep a closer eye on inventory control and purchasing volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter weekly payroll data into ADP (in coordination with our operations manager)

• Assist with basic financial reports and spreadsheet maintenance

• Prepare documents for unemployment claims, workers' comp audits, and agency requests

• Organize and track invoices, receipts, and financial paperwork

• Collaborate with our CFO and external finance team to support ongoing financial tasks

• (Optional growth opportunity) : Help monitor supply ordering and act as a cost control check in our production workflow

Qualifications:

• Prior bookkeeping experience (especially in a small business environment)

• Familiarity with ADP or similar payroll systems preferred

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with accounting/reporting tools

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and care

• Local to the Lehigh Valley area (Bethlehem, PA) preferred

Details:

• Part-time (approx. 10–15 hrs/week to start, with potential to grow)

• Hybrid option available, but some in-person work required

• Hourly pay based on experience
