We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students. This position involves working closely with children in a classroom setting, providing assistance in various subjects, and fostering an engaging and supportive environment for all learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support students with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
• Help educate students in foundational subjects such as Math and Literacy education.
• Provide care and supervision for preschool and toddler-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with students to promote understanding and engagement in lessons.
• Collaborate with educators to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with lesson planning and classroom management techniques is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
• A background in early childhood education, particularly in preschool or toddler care, is an asset.
• Knowledge of literacy education practices and math instruction strategies is desirable.
