Job Description As a Vertex Tax and Oracle Cloud Implementation Consultant, you will implement and configure Oracle Financial and Vertex tax solutions for WSI across various Legal Entities, including US, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, and UK. Your main goal is to ensure successful implementation tailored to our tax and financial needs. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide support. Key Responsibilities Implementation Planning: Understand business financial and tax requirements to develop tailored implementation plans. Configuration and Customization: Configure Oracle Financial modules and Vertex tax software to meet specific tax rules, rates, and exemptions per legal entity. Integration: Seamlessly integrate Vertex tax solutions with existing ERP and financial systems for accurate tax calculations. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure accuracy and resolve issues. Training and Support: Provide user training and ongoing support for Oracle Cloud and Vertex tax software. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation, including configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and identify process improvement opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Vertex Certified Professional or similar certification. Oracle ERP Financial Modules (AP, AR, GL, FA) certifications. Experience with Vertex O Certificate Exemption process and setup. Experience in consulting or professional services environment. 3+ years in tax technology implementation, focusing on Vertex for multiple legal entities. Strong knowledge of sales and use tax laws and regulations. 5+ years in Oracle ERP Cloud financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Projects). Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
