A Pediatric Neurology Physician position is available at a San Antonio pediatric department, focusing on outpatient and inpatient care, education, and clinical research. Pediatric Neurology Physician Opportunity in San Antonio, TX Position Summary: The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Neurology Physician to join a dynamic team of specialists. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, reliable team player with a commitment to educational and research programs. This role offers the opportunity to represent the division both within the community and on a national level. Team Composition:

  • Five board-certified pediatric neurologists
  • One developmental behavioral pediatrician
  • Two full-time pediatric nurse practitioners (PNPs)
  • Active programs in epilepsy (4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit), neurodevelopmental disorders, sleep, and neuromuscular disorders
  • Job Duties:
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care and participate in shared inpatient rotations with call responsibilities.
  • Education: Engage in trainee education, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Research: Participate in clinical research, with support available through the Clinical Research Center.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Neurology
  • Licensure: Must possess or be eligible for a Texas medical license
  • Appointment: Rank and academic appointment will be determined based on the candidates credentials and experience
