A middle school is seeking a dedicated Band Teacher to lead and inspire students through music education. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive environment focused on fostering musical growth and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging band and general music curriculum tailored to middle school students
• Organize rehearsals, performances, and events to showcase student talents
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education with broader academic goals
• Maintain classroom management and create a positive learning environment

Qualifications/Experience:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsements in music and band
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and teach middle school students in music and band settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for music education and commitment to student success
