About The Role Monks is looking to hire an enthusiastic Motion Graphics Designer who will push our assets to a new level. Must be a tech-focused designer who can consistently deliver innovative, jaw-dropping and thumb-stopping visuals for social and digital. This artist should also have a strong passion for music, entertainment, and pop culture. The ideal candidate must have experience working with templated projects, be able to handle fast turnarounds, and be able to excel under tight deadlines. Responsibilities Working as part of a dedicated client team, you’ll edit and animate campaign and social content for a top-name (and top-secret) brand. Design and animate titles, end cards and accompanying graphics for different platforms Work closely with art directors to concept creative solutions for clients Work with the creative team and production to understand project scope and objectives. Keeping up to date with latest design/animation techniques Adaptation of campaign assets - logo and artwork preparation, retouching, color grading etc. Light editing Export and deliver appropriate files to the specification given. General IT housekeeping of software, plugins, assets, style-guides etc. Compliance with guidelines, deadlines and design standards. Adhere to internal workflow and process Ability to find workflow efficiencies and optimization across the pipelines is a plus. About You / The Essentials Must have at least 2+ years of agency advertising experience Must be a bright, articulate, self-starter who can take initiative and bring new ideas to the table. Must be able to work closely with a team of graphic designers, editors, and art-directors. Expert proficiency in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) is ideal Proficiency in Cinema 4D is a plus Familiarity with Mac Systems Typography, Layout and Design skills Experience working within strict brand guidelines, as well as adapting campaign look & feel Passionate about design, and a student of social trends Possess a willingness to explore multiple options and adapt to stakeholder feedback Professional, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and to successfully manage concurrent and competing projects You will be expected to adhere to a high level of confidentiality At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
