The Manager Supply Execution position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division based in Alameda, CA. The role involves planning, directing, and monitoring all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day supply and logistics activities such as supply planning, production planning, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution. The manager will develop and implement schedules and procedures, ensure timely execution and accuracy of weekly supply risk analysis reports, allocate resources to meet targets, liaise with functional and operational area managers, select and manage supplier relationships, comply with FDA regulations and company policies, foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, monitor supplier performance, lead and develop staff, execute supply and deployment functions, act as team lead in the absence of the Senior Manager, represent the team in meetings, review and establish SOPs, provide operational support, develop and automate KPIs and SAP IBP templates, support weekend tasks, travel for business purposes, support UATs, be part of the Core Team with NPI/EOL group, and manage master data for the supply planning team. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain related field, supply chain experience with progressive responsibilities, 2 years leading supply chain teams, 4 years in the medical device industry, 6 years working with supply chain software, experience with global supply chain teams, ability to work in a matrixed and diverse environment, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and willingness to travel approximately 25%. Preferred skills include analytical thinking, project management, technical proficiency in supply chain software (SAP knowledge a plus), adaptability, global support flexibility, team collaboration, and fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
