We seek an individual who is experienced in patient transportation to manage the transportation and clinical runner activities and personnel of Patient Escort Services, and to coordinate a variety of administrative and supervisory activities to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations. Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Manages and coordinates the supervisory personnel in order to facilitate departmental operations.

• Orients, trains, and evaluates the performance of assigned supervisory personnel.

• Investigates employee related problems and performs personnel actions such as selection, merit increases, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

• Manages all activities regarding man-hour utilization of assigned personnel to include work schedules, man-hours, and payroll.

• Assists in conducting regular equipment inventory and maintenance

• Controls, monitors, and evaluates operational efficiency of services, and recommends subsequent adjustments.

• Facilitates departmental Quality Improvement activities and prepares related reports.

• Ensures adherence to departmental standards and procedures to include safety, quality control, and work rules.

• Completes statistical reports for management review and works independently on projects as directed.

Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two (2) years of progressive leadership exp erience in Patient Escort Management preferred.
