Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the second shift maintenance team to ensure reliable operations across production lines, equipment, and facility infrastructure. You will schedule work and allocate resources to meet production demands, maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and drive safety and uptime goals. You will also manage departmental costs, monitor trends, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Your Impact

  • Plan and schedule workforce efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor downtime and equipment performance to maintain consistent operations.
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, and infrared thermography.
  • Track equipment reliability and prioritize repairs and improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to maintenance team members.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, SQF requirements, and plant safety programs.
  • Control labor costs, overtime, and parts expenses while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve plant goals and objectives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and involve all associates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience and previous supervisory experience.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in preventive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of electronic and electrical principles; CAD/drafting experience desirable.
  • Proficient in computer systems and maintenance software.
  • Experienced in writing maintenance procedures, job descriptions, and employee evaluations.
  • Effective communication skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
