Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is -seeking a Machinist I to join their team. As a Machinist I, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist I

Location: North Kingstown, RI
Temp- Perm

Pay Range: $ 24

Shift: 2nd Shift- 3:30PM -11:30PM 

What's the Job?

• Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machining equipment including lathes, mills, and lapping machines to fabricate aluminum parts
• Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products
• Package and transport parts using fork truck and motorized pallet jack equipment
• Select and utilize a wide variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
• Regularly clean and maintain machinery based on cleaning procedures and preventative maintenance schedules

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred and CNC Machining 
• Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Supportive team player with a proactive attitude
