About the role This is not a typical development job. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that works on iconic projects like: Building a digital ecosystem for the Benaki Museum , where technology enhances culture, creating seamless, exciting, and beautiful digital experiences for visitors Designing web experiences for Electra Hotels , blending UX precision and elegant engineering for hospitality audiences Developing high-performance platforms that optimize for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), drive conversions, integrate smart automations, and are rigorously tested and measured Engineering digital products built for speed, scale, and measurable results Be part of our AI studio As a lead, you’ll guide a talented dev team, review and improve code, mentor juniors, and oversee deployment workflows. You’ll work closely with strategists, designers, marketers, and clients to bring great ideas to life life, beautifully and effectively. You’ll also represent the dev team in meetings, helping clients understand how technology translates into business value. This is a role for someone who codes with intention and leads with clarity. What you’ll do Oversee and mentor a team of web developers, promoting best practices and clean, efficient code Architect and lead the development of custom websites, digital products, e-commerce solutions, and web applications Ensure optimal deployment workflows, performance, and maintainability across projects Review code, set standards, and optimize for performance, SEO, AEO, accessibility, and scalability Communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences - internally and with clients Collaborate across teams to align dev work with strategy, UX, content, and KPIs Stay up to date with web trends, frameworks, and evolving AI capabilities Help us build platforms and digital products that are measurable, testable, and result-driven What you bring 8+ years of professional experience building websites and web apps Mastery of PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce, and Laravel Advanced skills in JavaScript and React Experience working with web architecture, database design, deployment pipelines, CI/CD Strong understanding of performance optimization, SEO/AEO, and code efficiency Experience with analytics, conversion tracking, and building with results in mind Team leadership skills: code reviews, mentorship, feedback, and task prioritization Great communication skills, especially when translating tech for business teams or clients A growth mindset and openness to experimentation - AI, automations, testing frameworks Love for the web! Excitement for AI.
