Responsible for keeping our laser-guided vehicle operations running smoothly and efficiently. This will be achieved by addressing and correcting LGV machine faults, keeping the end-of-the-line equipment running (Palletizers and Pallet Labelers), keeping both units and work area clean, and maintaining the data integrity of the product inventory moved by the LGV’s. Ensure LGVs stay up and running by addressing alarms and faults from LGVs and end-of-line equipment including but not limited to palletizers, pallet labelers, and Injection Molding machines. Conducts light general and preventative maintenance ensuring the LGVs operate properly. Other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years’ experience with performing light preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, production equipment operation, and LGV or AGV operation. Basic math and computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, analytical thinking, good hand-eye coordination, self-motivation with strong initiative, ability to learn and follow established procedures, enjoyment of working in a fast-paced manufacturing production line environment, ability to work in a team environment, and ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks and overtime as needed. Mental functions require continuous mental alertness or very close visual attention. Physical functions include standing constantly, walking frequently, and occasionally climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Equipment used includes analytical lab equipment, calculator, computer, forklift or powered industrial trucks, production line equipment, LGV’s and sanitation equipment.
