Flagship Bakery in Greenwich Village is looking for Part-Time dishwashers/porters. Empire Cake has recently opened our brand new kitchen! We are a small independently owned business and we are looking for good people to join our team. You must be reliable and hardworking. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position and lift up to 50 pounds.
We are looking a candidate open to two to four PM shifts per week, 3pm - 11pm, with weekend availability.Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing
- Sweeping and mopping
- Taking out the trash
- Deep cleaning areas of the bakery including equipment
- Being pro-active and able to complete work without supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards preferred
- Storage of incoming food, paper, and linen deliveries, ensuring all food items are rotated (FIFO) properly
